THE HOLIDAY TRADITION RETURNS!

For nearly 30 years, Lane County has started the holiday season by coming together to help families in need. That’s why STUFF THE BUS was created. Your generosity has kept it going, and growing, year after year!

So whether 2024 is your first or your 29th STB, we at 104.7 KDUK – along with our partners at Lane Transit District – greatly appreciate your continued support of Food for Lane County and Toys for Tots

Here’s where you’ll find us the weekend of November 15th & 16th!

FRIDAY November 15th – 10am to 6pm – Olympic Street Walmart – Springfield

SATURDAY November 16th – 10am to 6pm – Green Acres Walmart – Eugene

As always, we’ll be accepting your generous donations of NON-PERISHIBLE food items and NEW, UNWRAPPED toys. When it comes to supporting those in need, FFLC and the Lane County Toys for Tots program are unparalled, so feel good knowing that thousands of families will have a happier and healthier Holiday Season thanks to YOU!

Not sure what to bring? Here’s a list from Food for Lane County of the most needed food items:

Toys for Tots does not publish a list of appropriate toys to donate, preferring that donors consider what might be an appropriate gift for their own child/relative. Toys for Tots does not accept realistic looking weapons and gifts with food.

While all new, unwrapped toys are gratefully accepted – older teens and infants are the age groups most commonly overlooked.  Early stage developmental & educational toys and sporting goods, popular YA books and games, and personal hygiene items are a great place to start.
