FRIDAY, DECEMBER 14TH - OUR FINAL WISH IS FOR 4 YEAR OLD DIEGO - This little guy was in desperate need for some new shoes and warm clothes - so with the help of Atlantic Records we were again able to make sure that he was outfitted for the winter weather ahead. But Diego loves to read, paint and do puzzles...and chance you could help this little one get creative this Christmas?
DONATIONS FOR ANY AND ALL OF OUR WISHES ARE DUE BY 5PM FRIDAY HERE AT THE KDUK STUDIOS...we'll be turning in all gifts over to the EUGENE ACTIVE 20/30 CLUB on Friday night so THANK YOU for finding a way to help...it means the world to us...and the kids.
Also a reminder that presents for ornaments that have been taken off of the GIVING TREE at VRC need to be returned to the tree no later than this Sunday. The great folks at the 20/30 Club need the time to distribute them all to their respective service organizations & then on to the kids!
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 13TH - It's MISS WENDY'S TIME TO SHINE - She's a sweet 8 year old...who's favorite colors are purple & green and who is dreaming every night about getting a CABBAGE PATCH DOLL! Hope that the KDUK elves can help this wish come true! Thanks to Atlantic Records for making sure Wendy will be warm and cozy all winter long! Please drop off any gift donations at the KDUK studios: 1500 Valley River Drive Suite 350 by 5pm tomorrow and THANK YOU from all of us, and the Eugene Active 20/30 Club!
WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 12TH - Today's wish is for 3 year old Gerritt - he's all boy and adores SUPERHEROES. With the help of Atlantic Records we've got Mr G covered for the winter with some cozy duds...even a sweet BATMAN shirt...and new pajamas...which he really needed. So he'll be warm at night...but YOU CAN WARM HIS HEART by donating some BUILDING TOYS...or others toys that will help him develop his fine motor skills. Any items can be brought to the KDUK Studios at 1500 Valley RIver Drive Suite 350 between 8am and 5pm. THANK YOU FOR MAKING THE GIVING TREE A PART OF YOUR HOLIDAY SEASON!
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 11TH - Today's wish is for 14 year old Frankie - This young lady enjoys spending time in nature & her favorite color is GREEN! (Duck fan?) With the help of Atlantic Records we were able to spruce (and warm) up her winter wardrobe but we're looking for some help with her wish list....Frankie loves puzzles and is really hoping for a chess set. MONDAY, DECEMBER 10th - This mornings wish is for 6 year old Alexander - he's loving school and all things pirates and dinosaurs. Atlantic Records helped us get Alexander ready for winter with some warm clothing and for school with a new backpack. HOW YOU CAN HELP: This 6 year olds wish is for BOOKS - please bring any early reader books that you would like to donate to the KDUK studios at 1500 Valley River Drive Suite 350 by 5pm today.
We'll grant a wish for another deserving child tomorrow morning so be listening - or stop by the Giving Tree at VRC and find a special child that you'd like to help with your family, friends or co-workers!
